Sengunthar Engineering College was established in 2001 with an aim to accomplish distinction in Engineering and Technological pursuits. It is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE. Our Chairman is a versatile genius who diligently strives hard to bring to forum the innate abilities of youth from the rural back ground. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Jansons Group of Companies, Tiruchengode, Jansons School of Business, Jansons Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, Jansons MRI Diagnostic Centre, Erode and Heritage Granites, Sankari. He is the Syndicate member of Periyar University, Salem. With his fervent and energetic support Sengunthar Engineering College produces students of rare breed. All the inimitability is unearthed through his dexterously designed programmes at the pertinent point of time from the students to synchronize them to sprout out with a style of their own. He worked as an Assistant Professor in Erode Arts and Science College for a period of over 15 years, Professor in Erode Arts and Science College for a period of 5 years and Principal in Sengunthar Arts and Science College, Tiruchengode for a period of 15 years. He is the notable and celebrated icon whose exuberance generates power and fresh flavor among the young juveniles. He is the valid asset to the student community. His refined and dignified ideas make him a path definer. His actions are centered around the benefit of students and he is hailed by the students as the God gifted organ voice of our Institution. Each and every second he thinks of designing novel schemes to bring out the students adroitness to lime light.

Dr.C.Venkatesh graduated in ECE from Kongu Engineering College in the year 1988 and obtained his master degree in Applied Electronics from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 1990. He was awarded PhD in ECE from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 2007.

He has a credit of two and half decade experience which includes around 3 years in industry. He has 22 years of teaching experience and he was awarded Best Teacher Award twice. He was the founder Principal of Surya Engineering College, Erode. He worked as a Dean-Faculty of Engineering, Erode Builder Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions, Kangayam.

He has produced 8 PhDs, 2 research scholars have submitted their thesis and 2 scholars are pursuing. He is a Member of IEEE, CSI, ISTE, Fellow IETE and FIE. He has Published 62 papers in International and one in National Journals and 65 Papers in International and National conferences.

He is a Member of International Association of Engineers(IAENG), Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Computer Science and Management Research (IJCSMR), Chief Technical Advisory Board Member of International Journal of Soft Computing and Engineering (IJSCE), Editorial and Review Board Member of International Journal of Electronics and Computer Science Engineering (IJECSE), Advisory Committee Member of International Journal of Engineering Research and Applications (IJERIA), Editor in International forum of researchers Students and Academician (IFRSA) and International Journal of Computer Science and Network (IJCSN).His area of interest includes Soft Computing, Sensor Networks and Communication.
